1. Is refusal for issuance of a visa a grounded reason, for which the amount of a ticket may be refunded?

Not at all times. Some airline companies do not accept this reason as a justifiable ground for refunding. In order to return the ticket for this reason, you should submit the original copy of the refusal on the blank of the embassy. The comment on the passport is not an acceptable ground.

2. If I purchase a ticket from your website not for the first time, is/are my (passport information, contacts) and information on my bank card saved on the website?

No. All data is deleted after the payment is made, and the process of making an order is conducted automatically.

3. I need to discard a ticket. What should I do?

- A ticket may be discarded in half hour (do not confuse with return) since its purchase and not later than the end of the day. Where more than three mistakes are allowed while filling out any tickets or in other cases where discarding of a ticket is needed, you should compose a relevant application should be filled out on the page of order. We have the right to determine a fee for performing the procedure of ‘discarding a ticket’ in the amount of 20 AZN. 4. Can I make changes to the passenger information?

Making any changes to the personal information is not allowed. According to the terms of some airline companies, only three mistakes while filling the full name of a passenger are allowed in the issued ticket. Any changes to the ticket may lead to cancellation of it the refunding is performed according to the terms of the chosen tariff.

5. Does a client need a receipt of route?

Although this document is not obligatory when flying, however, we recommend you to print and take it with you, as this receipt may be needed when passing the control in the country where you go. The receipt of route is a document confirming that you have obtained a return ticket. Furthermore, the personnel of avian security in some countries may require this document.

6. Although I returned the ticket, the funds did not enter the card. What is the reason for?

Our company never delays the payment, if its return is approved by the airline company. The possible reasons for the delay may be: - The airline company has not yet performed refund of the funds - The terms of return in some cases may vary up to 60 days - The bank has not yet received the funds (You can get information from the bank personal)

7. In case of necessity to return an airline ticket, how soon can I return the funds?

An application for return will be processed by us at the moment of submission of it, in case of a positive reply from the air transporter. The funds are sent to the bank to which the bank card belongs. Entry of the funds to the card will be performed within the timeframe according to your bank.

8. Can I return/ change an airline ticket?

Yes, you can. In order to apply for return / change of an airline ticket, you should enter the page where you booked the order and click on the ‘Change’ button, compose an application in the form that will be opened and send it to us. This transaction may also be performed not filling out a form, but simply sending us information (the code of booking, the number of the order and information on the buyer) via the e-mail of info@trips.az. (The passenger should send an application via the e-mail indicated while booking the ticket) We will contact you and ask you to pass the procedure of confirmation of the application for return / change of the ticket. The application will only be reviewed after performing it. If you cannot contact us or in case where less than a full day remains until the flight, you can directly contact the airline company. The return / change of tickets (for another flight or another date) will be performed in compliance with the terms of the tariff chosen by you. Please, note that: - The airline company may take penalty for the procedure of return / change of the tickets - The commission and duties paid for purchasing the tickets are not considered when the funds are returned / changed. The return will be performed in the following order: You pay the duty, we perform the procedure of return of the booked ticket, and the airline company receives the application for return and pays the full funds within 1 to 60 calendar days. In this case, the amount of the funds to be returned is calculated according to the terms of booking and to the tariff you chose. (In case of inconsistency of the currencies, the funds are returned to your card. They are converted according to the rate quoted by the Central Bank of the country) In case where the return of the ticket is necessary due to the fault of the airline company (change in the schedule of the flight due to weather conditions or another reasons (delay for 3 or more hours, cancellation of the trip, and etc.), the service fee for the airline company will not be charged. In case of necessity of return of a ticket for a justifiable reason, such as hospitalization or death of a relative or passenger), relevant documents shall be submitted. In such cases, the decision on return of the ticket is made by the airline company. In this case, the passenger (or his/her relatives) will be refunded the funds except the service fee and the commission of the system. You should note that there are some non-returnable tickets, according to the terms of tariff. We recommend you to read the rules of the chosen tariff carefully before the purchase of a airline ticket. According to the international law, the legislation of the country where the airline company was registered shall be applied to the airline company. Therefore, before the question how to book a ticket of a foreign aviation company (irrespective of the country of flight), you should make sure of possibility of returning the ticket, if necessary.

9. How are funds deducted from the card of a buyer?

- All transactions relating to payment for tickets are performed by the provider-airline company through its administration office in a specific country or at its head office’ - Irrespective of the way of payment for a ticket, it will be indicated as bought at the moment of deduction of the funds from the card of the client. - If in the section of ‘receiver of funds’ is written trips.az, the funds will in any case be provided to the airline company.

10. Payment by card is unavailable. What are the reasons for?

When making payment by a card, the 3D Secure technology is used on the website, which is the guarantee of security of your payments. You can pass the procedure of SMS-authentification on the telephone number connected to your bank card. If this service is not supported, you should apply to the emitting bank to activate it. This service is called ‘mobile banking’.

11. Can I book and pay for an airline ticket for a relative, friend or acquainted?

Yes. It is allowed when necessary rules are followed. You should give your contacts, by notifying the passengers for whom the tickets are booked.

12. Which banking cards are eligible to pay for airline tickets?

- MasterCard; - Visa; - Visa Electron.

13. How to make payment by a card?

- At the time of purchase, the price of the ticket and the currency by which it may be paid are indicated in the applicable space. The necessary amount will be blocked from the bank card of the client, which is charged off by the airline company during several days. - Where the currencies do not match, an automatic converting will work. The exchange rate depends on the bank of the country of the card holder (for information on the commissions and rates at the time of payment, you can apply to the bank personnel). - Making payment for the purchase, the client confirms his/her consent for deduction of the mentioned amount from his/her card. - When using payment through a card not belonging to the future passenger, you should get a written permission from the card holder.

14. How to pay for airline ticket?

- An airline ticket may be obtained by one of two methods: at the office by cash and on Trips.az website by a bank card. - Irrespective of the chosen method of payment, the funds are paid to the airline company and remain under its disposal. The website offering the tickets and all funds – both cash and non-cash – manages the company providing airborne transportation. - More optimal choice for clients is payment by a card on our website. No personal presence is required for conducting the transactions, which saves the time of future passengers. - Payment by a card may be made through special service centers.
